Apa itu CANONICAL URL dan Apa Fungsinya


Salam Blogging, Kali ini BLOGGINGPASURUAN akan sedikit menjelaskan tentang Apa itu CANONICAL URL ?. URL Canonical didefinisikan sebagai URL pilihan untuk konten halaman agar bisa dindeks di Search Engine. Canonical URL digunakan oleh Search Engine seperti Google, Yahoo, Bing, dan lain lain. Banyak situs memiliki dua atau lebih link dari konten yang sama dengan parameter yang berbeda. Mungkin Search Engine akan menjadi bingung tentang konten halaman yang mana yang mau diINDEX?

Contoh Canonical URL

URL ASLI : http://www.bloggingpasuruan.blogspot.com/SEO/Apa-itu-CANONICAL-URL-dan-Apa-Fungsinya

Jika ingin lulus Parameter rujukan sehingga Original Link akan diubah seperti di bawah ini

URL dengan Parameter: http://www.bloggingpasuruan.blogspot.com/SEO/Apa-itu-CANONICAL-URL-dan-Apa-Fungsinya?utm_source=bloggingpasuruan.blogspot&utm_medium=referral

Contoh URL di atas yang tidak sama tetapi isinya menunjukkan konten yang sama persis. Search Engine bingung mana yang perlu diindeks. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini Canonical URL akan digunakan dalam setiap halaman.

Keterangan : URL CONONICAL

SEO = Label
Apa-itu-CANONICAL-URL-dan-Apa-Fungsinya : Judul Posting Anda

Jadi URL di atas akan mendapatkan indeks dari Mesin pencari utama dan mengarahkan semua pengguna ke URL ini dengan menggunakan Tag Canonical. Sementara rel = "canonical" elemen link dipandang sebagai petunjuk oleh Search Engine dan tidak mutlak langsung.

Menerapkan Non Canonical URL ke Canonical URL normal
Kita perlu menambahkan rel = "canonical" link ke bagian dari versi non-kanonik setiap halaman HTML. Berikut adalah tag URL Canonical dari halaman saat ini,

Atau Anda bisa menambahkan URL CANONICAL yang lebih praktis seperti dibawah ini :

Kita perlu menempatkan kode di atas di bagian bawah kode <head> pada kode HTML maka konten halaman ditempatkan pada url canonical.

      Perlu banget Mas... tag itu dimaksudkan untuk mencegah URL ganda di Blog kita, pada umumnya tag SEO-nya terpasang seperti ini"link expr:href='data:blog.url' rel='canonical'" pada template tamplate th 2015 keatas
